Lìdia

Photo: Juergen Kuehn

Vem sentar-te comigo, Lìdia, à beira do rio.
(Enlacemos as mãos).

Vers 1 - Fernando Pessoa - Ricardo Reis - Poesia 12.6.1914

Thank you, Tuca.

  4. Again, I love the photography...I can't understand the poetry, though, because I don't know the language...so I can't comment on that.

This must be a shot you took in the spring, right? Along the riverbank...

  6. Jacob,
thank you very much for your visit and your words at the thread Lydia.
I am sorry, but I never found an english translation of this poem "Lìdia" from the greates Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa. So the blank first verse is in Portuguese and German, only.
